Insurgent - Fan Art Poster by addictomovie
Well, since I haven't been writing for quite some times, I think posting another article won't hurt, right?
Anyway, Insurgent Movie is coming up. The new trailer just premier. For you who haven't see it, check it out here.

To be honest, the last time I read Insurgent was two years ago and I haven't re read it. So, maybe I miss some scenes or forget a few parts of the story. But there's definitely some scene that I don't remember supposed to be there, like the flying house?

Summary :
Lexington Larrabee has never to work a day in her life. After all, she’s the heiress to the multi-billion-dollar Larrabee Media empire. And heiresses are not supposed to work. But then again, they’re not supposed to crash brand new Mercedes convertibles into convenience stores on Sunset Blvd either.

Which is why, on Lexi’s eighteen birthday, her ever-absent, tycoon father decides to take a more proactive approach to her wayward life. Every week for the next year, she will have to take on a different low-wage job if she ever wants to receive her beloved trust fund. But if there’s anything worse than working as a maid, a dishwasher, and a fast-food restaurant employee, it’s dealing with Luke, the arrogant, albeit moderately attractive, college intern her father has assigned to keep tabs on her.

In a hilarious “comedy of heiress” about family, forgiveness, good intentions, and best of all, second chances, Lexi learns that love can be unconditional, money can be immaterial, and, regardless of age, everyone needs a little saving. And although she might have 52 reasons to hate her father, she only needs one reason to love him.

Review :

Well, after more than one month of hiatus, I guess it's time to put my fingers back to my keyboard and start reviewing again. Without longer talkings, here you go

This book is probably not the kind  of book that I usually read, but I'm sure I enjoyed this book. I finished it in one sitting! The writting , ideas, and story telling is very light which I found fit with my currently busy conditions. I think the book was meant to younger readers but I recommended to anyone, eventhough this book is not very brand new.

OMG, the feels!! I haven't even touch a copy yet! PERCY!!! I'M GONNA MISS YOU!!

So, it's finally here, huh? For the last two year, to be honest, I feel like all of my favorite series are finished. Start with Divergent, Legend, The Selection, The Mortal Instrument, and now The Heroes of Olympus. I gotta be honest, though. This is the hardest one to let go.

Five years ago, Wren Connolly was shot three times in the chest. After 178 minutes she came back as a Reboot: stronger, faster, able to heal, and less emotional. The longer Reboots are dead, the less human they are when they return. Wren 178 is the deadliest Reboot in the Republic of Texas. Now seventeen years old, she serves as a soldier for HARC (Human Advancement and Repopulation Corporation).

Wren’s favorite part of the job is training new Reboots, but her latest newbie is the worst she’s ever seen. As a 22, Callum Reyes is practically human. His reflexes are too slow, he’s always asking questions, and his ever-present smile is freaking her out. Yet there’s something about him she can’t ignore. When Callum refuses to follow an order, Wren is given one last chance to get him in line—or she’ll have to eliminate him. Wren has never disobeyed before and knows if she does, she’ll be eliminated, too. But she has also never felt as alive as she does around Callum.

The perfect soldier is done taking orders

Review :

I found this book in YouTube. And  when I checked out the trailer, I was totally amazed! I wanted the book. And I was really happy when I finally get a copy at a local bookstore!

The main reason that I wanted this book so bad is that I found that the idea is very fresh and original. So, thank you Miss Amy Tintera for proving those fools-who-have-been-saying-that-all-dystopians-are-the-same that they are wrong. Because this book is so fresh that they can’t compare it with others or they will prove that they really are fools.

Hey!! I'm Back!!

Heyyyy!! I miss you guys so much!! I know it's been a long time since I posted an article, and I am very thankful for my loyal readers! I'm so sorry for the long hiatus. But I'll try to catch up

Anyway, as I've said before , I am in high school!! I join few after class activities and some organisations, so I'm kinda have full schedule. But I've more time to spare I guess, since I already got my placement classs.
Well, stay tuned!

Desperate for help, they turn to the Patriots - a vigilante rebel group sworn to bring down the Republic. But can they trust them or have they unwittingly become pawns in the most terrifying of political games?

Review :

Finally, I can read Prodigy! The book is as good as its predescor. With different twist and of course, more questions to answer.

The main thing about Prodigy, I think, is finding what’s right. In this book, it’s hard to see which side  is the right one. We can also see the character’s struggles about their choices. And I guess, that’s what makes the book interesting. Readers will never know who the bad guy is.

Review :

I finally got this book! Yes, this book has released for a long time. Yes, the last book is going to release in less than a week . And yes, I should have read Clockwork Angel first. I used to think like that. But I was seriously tired of waiting and I wanted to finish all the series as soon as possible, so I just skipped Clockwork Angel and started reading City of Fallen Angels instead. I mean seriously, I read the first three books before the movie but I didn’t want to read the fourth one because I was still looking for Clockwork Angel.

OMG! I’m litterly fangirling right now. The book is so fantastic, I read it so fast. I don’t know what to feel! Am I really happy because the book is so good ? Or am I really sad because my favorite series come to end? But I’m sure that I’m happy because I was able to read it way sooner than I though! I got the book right on the day when it was released! It’s very rare to happen if you live in my country. Then, I finished it in one day when I finished my national exams and made the review on the very next day! Which is today!

Before America Singer met Prince Maxon . . .
Before she entered the Selection . . .
She was in love with a boy named Aspen Leger.

Don't miss this digital original novella set in the captivating world of Kiera Cass's #1 New York Times bestselling Selection trilogy. This brand new 64-page story begins just after the group of Selected girls is narrowed down to the Elite and is told from Aspen's point of view. The Guard also features a teaser to The One, the thrilling conclusion to The Selection trilogy

Review :

As I promise, this is my review of The Guard. I have read this one for a while, actually. But you know it. The story is told in Aspen’s POV. And I’m a Maxerica fans so I don’t really like anything Aspen related and really lazy to make the review. But,again, The One is coming up. Yes it is two days away ! Yes it’s the only thing on my mind. Then, I remembered about this book that I haven’t reviewed. I didn’t intent to make one, to be honest. But I have made all The Selection book reviews, so why not this one.

Interview with Michelle Kryst author of Hexed

Wednesday, April 30, 2014

Michelle Krys lives with her husband and son in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. She works part-time as a NICU nurse and spends her free time writing books for teens. Michelle is probably not a witch, though she did belong to a witchcraft club in the fifth grade and "levitated" people in her bedroom, so that may be up for debate. Hexed is her first novel. Visit her at michellekrys.com or follow @MichelleKrys on Twitter.

Just a few weeks ago, I read an amazing book, called Hexed. I’m so happy not just because I could read the book month before the publish date, but also because I was able to hold an interview with the author, Michelle Krys
This is actually my first ever interview with an international author, so I’m glad that the first time I’m doing this is with an author of a book that I actually like.  You know what the best part is? She is actually very nice!
Anyway, here is my interview with Michelle Krys

Lost in Babylon ( Seven Wonders #2) by Peter Lerangis

Publisher          : Harper Collins
Publish Date     : October 26th 2013
ISBN               : 9780062070456
Pages               : 384
Edition              : First US Papeback
Personal Rating : 8/10
Summary          :
The adventure continues as Jack and his friends travel to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon in the pulse-pounding second title in the Seven Wonders series.

With Marco gone and the first Loculus lost, Jack, Cass, and Ally are no closer to saving themselves (or the world) than when they first arrived at the Karai Institute. But when Bhegad tracks down Marco deep in the desert, the kids are off on the next leg of their quest-to the ancient city of Babylon. There the kids find themselves faced with a daunting choice that makes them question everything they've learned so far. It's a gut wrenching decision, but what the kids don't realize is that it's also a trap. Surprises pile on surprises until a long-lost figure from Jack's past returns, and the kids find themselves forced to engineer an escape that might just turn out to be a different kind of trap altogether....

A very nice sequel! Compared to the first one, this book has more twists, more dangerous adventures, and definitely more fantastic plot. I couldn’t choose which book is better, since both of them has their own pros and cons.

Review :

Okay, I know hundreds of you have read it. And the book has been sold in  my country for a year or two, but I never had any intentions to read it.  It’s not my genre ,I suppose.

But I got this assigment to write an article about anything romance related for school magazine. I always sucks at romance , so I decided to write a review instead. And the first thing that crossed my mind is this book. It’s perfect for my assigment. It’s not too common as Romeo and Juliet, but it’s understandable for people in my school!
